Bariatric Surgery Post-Op Drip

Benefits: Our Bariatric surgery post-op drip contains essential nutrients, minerals, and vitamins that patients who undergo bariatric surgery may subsequently be deficient in.

Ingredients:

• Lactated Ringers – contains important electrolytes in sodium chloride, sodium lactate, potassium, and calcium.
• Folic Acid (Vitamin B9) – important for red blood cell formation. B9 deficiency may be common in those who recently had bariatric surgery due to dietary insufficiency and/or malabsorption of the gastrointestinal tract.
• B-Complex (B1: Thiamine, B2: Riboflavin, B3: Niacinamide, B4: Dexpanthenol, B6: Pyridoxine) – improves mood, enhances cognitive function and energy production, increases metabolism and cellular repair. Deficiencies in these vitamins may also be common after bariatric surgery due to dietary insufficiency and/or malabsorption of the GI tract.

• Toradol – non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication that can help reduce inflammation and control pain associated with muscle aches, back/joint pain, and headaches/migraines.
• Zofran – helps both in the prevention and treatment of nausea and/or vomiting.
• Decadron – powerful corticosteroid aimed at helping to reduce inflammation, chronic pain related to inflammation, and nausea.
